Overview
We invite you to join us for an adventure that combines nature and culture. We will start our journey in The Babu Adventures private resort where you can peacefully enjoy the magnificent scenery; 8000m snowy peaks, lush green valleys, country side villages and the sunrise over a sea of clouds with the Annapurna range in the background. We will go together for a paragliding flight with the company of the impressive Himalayan griffons, vultures and eagles. Enjoying the view from the sky is a really special experience and probably something you will never forget. Our journey will then continue with a kayak or rafting descent. After this adrenaline filled day, we will drive to the Terai plains of Southern Nepal to visit the birth place of the Buddha. According to Buddhist tradition, Siddhartha Gautama, the Lord Buddha, was born in the beautiful gardens of Lumbini in 623 B.C. The city is a famous place of pilgrimage and was made a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. We will finish our journey with a visit in this site, rich of culture before heading back to Pokhara.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Departure from Pokhara and rafting/kayaking Kaligandaki River camping on the river side
Day 2: Rafting/kayaking and camping on the river side
Day 3: Rafting/kayaking and transport to our private resort in Sirkot for fight
Day 4: Paragliding flight
Day 5: Visit Lumbini
Day 6: Return to Pokhara/Kathamndu
