Overview
The Tandem pilot T2 exam is the final step to becoming a professional (commercial) Tandem Pilot. After successfully completing the tandem pilot examination (both theory and practical), tandem pilots can carry any passenger and make commercial paragliding flights. They also have the responsibility of introducing people to paragliding through discovering paragliding and other various programs.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18
- Proof of insurance (worldwide coverage): medical / search and rescue / 3rd person liability
- Completed Tandem T1 course
- 100 logged tandem flights (10 with instructor, 40 with pilots, 50 with non-pilots)
- Valid advanced SIV certificate and tandem SIV
- Valid First Aid certificate
- Valid Rope Rescue course certificate
- Valid Advanced XC certificate
- Must have flown with minimum 2 different tandem gliders
